Since 2020

I listen to The Guardian long audio read “Flour power: meet the bread heads baking a better loaf“ and, since I have tried doing some fermented foods before (vegan cheese, ginger beer, milk and water kefir), I decided to give it a go. That's how I met Burbujitas.

Characteristics

Burbujitas is a hardworking and reliable starter. She always makes the perfect bread and I don’t even need to knead!! I just mix her with Khorasan wholemeal and let them do they magic. We have been together for less than two months, but she has already become part of the family along with Bichito the water kefir and all the herbs and plants around the house and the ‘balcodín’ (balcón + jardín).
