I never discard my sourdough because I use it almost everyday. I just stir in 50g of water and 50g any types of flour before i use it.

Filled the rose , cut apples and water in maison jar. Put the lid on tightly for a week. Shake and Open the lid allow them to breath everyday. After a week, combine 50g of yeast water and 50g flour. Feed another two times with same amount after every rise. And the starter is ready to use.
