From the depths of the high Sierra emerged a bubbling starter made from this winters first snow and freshly milled Artisan bakers craft wheat flour. True to the original "sourdough" gold miners of the Sierra it yields a bread with a distinct tangy complex sour flavor typical of the original sourdough flapjacks of the 49ers era.
